The "Development of Microwave Scattering Field Tomography Imaging System for Next Generation Breast Cancer Screening" was the recipient of the 1st Japan Medical Research and Development Award, specifically receiving the Japan Medical Research and Development Organization President’s Award.

The project "World's Highest Performance - Ultra Broadband Radar for Nondestructive Inspection of Infrastructure Structures" was presented with an Excellence Award at the 2027 i-Construction Grand Prix.

IGS succeeded in developing the world's first microwave mammography and was designated by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare as a product under the Sakigake Designation Scheme.
